These Truths
We hold these Truths to be self-evident –
That we, as human beings,
Are all created in the image
And similitude of our Creator.
And that we therefore have
The right to life and liberty,
Happiness and peace.
By “Life” we mean
A state of perfect health,
Free of all disease, and filled
With boundless energy.
By “Liberty” we mean
The clarity of mind to be
Responsible for our own actions –
For therein lies the price of freedom.
By “Peace” we mean the balance
Of the body, mind, and soul –
For real peace can only come
From inner equilibrium.
By “Happiness” we mean
The joy from which we co-create
A better future for ourselves,
Our children, and our world.
